My hometown is Fort Smith, Arkansas. After a brief time in south Texas, I was drawn back to Northwest Arkansas in 2017 and can’t imagine living anywhere else!

I didn’t choose pediatric surgery as a specialty… it picked me! I have been hooked since my first clinical rotation as a medical student. Even though some days are challenging, I have never regretted a single day in this specialty. While we don’t have human children of our own, I have always said that my patients are my kids. This work is incredibly fulfilling, and I hope to continue serving my community in this way for many, many years to come.
